Front A-Arms

Decrease overall weight and more importantly "unsprung" weight with a set of BMR tubular front a-arms. BMR A-arms are manufactured from DOM tubular steel and feature precision laser cut mounting plates and CNC milled ball joint cups to provide you with a very rigid, high quality upgrade to the factory suspension. These a-arms are built extremely rigid and are equally at home on the street or at the track, whether it be drag racing or autocross. Both upper and lower a-arms are compatible with all stock components and come equipped with swaybar mounts. Available in Black Hammertone or red powdercoat.

Lower A-arms:

These precision made a-arms feature 1.625" and 1.25" DOM tubing construction with CNC milled balljoint cups and laser cut mounting plates. A new, heavy duty, greasable ball joint comes pre-installed. Mounts consist of a combination of low deflection polyurethane bushings and a chrome moly, teflon lined severe duty rod-end with stainless steel mounting spacers. Save 7 lbs. of unsprung weight and increase the rigidity of your front suspension at the same time! ***May require modification to fit KYB shocks

Eliminate wheelhop and improve traction with an easy one hour installation. BMR's fabricated control arms are available in both tubular or boxed versions, in fixed or adjustable lengths. All control arms are equipped with either spiral fluted internally lubed high durometer polyurethane bushings or Heavy Duty QA1 Teflon raced XR series spherical bearings depending on the part number.

  • The heavy duty boxed control arms are fabricated from 1.5" x 3" rectangular tubing.
  • The non-adjustable tubular control arms are fabricated from 1.625" x .120" DOM tubing or in the optional 1.625" x .083" 4130 chrome moly option.
  • The "On-Car" adjustable versions are made from 1.25" x .095" 4130 chrome moly tubing. These control arms use custom 3/4" heavy duty chrome moly double adjusters for the street version and HD XR series QA1 rod ends with stainless spacers for the race version. Both models can be adjusted "on-car".

These bulletproof control arms are made from 4130 chrome moly tubing and feature overkill sized 1-1/8" double adjusters. Arms are adjustable in length up to 1/2" in either direction. Available in Black Hammertone or red powdercoat.

These are the beefiest F-body control arms yet. BMR's new F-Body lower control arms are CNC machined from billet 6061 T6 aluminum alloy and black anodized. It's almost a shame to bolt them under a car where you can't see them! Carved from a 2" x 2.5" solid billet, nobody will have to worry about breaking these. We have also upgraded the bushings and inner sleeves with thicker material to handle whatever you can dish out. Made in the USA!

QA1(HAL) SHOCKS

FRONT - QA1 Shocks produce the single best shocks available for GM F-body cars(1993-Present Camaros and Firebirds). Street, strip, or handling, this is the shock that can do it all! The GEN-F provides machined aluminum, externally adjustable shocks designed specifically for this series chassis. The valving adjustment is made with a single knob at the base of the shock(12 settings total), enabling you to adjust to changing track conditions or for ride comfort. The GEN-F shock is machined aluminum, bright anodized, and incorporates No. 8 Acme threads for easy ride height adjustments. QA1 Accessories

The QA1 springs made for the Generation F coilovers work fine for the majority of applications, however, if you already have lowering springs or wish to use a custom rate spring, you're out of luck. BMR spring cups can be installed on top of the adjustable shock collar to allow the use of any stock or aftermarket lowering spring. The cups are made out of heavy duty 1/4" laser cut plate and have a machined radiused bevel that matches the coil itself. Sold in pairs.

BMR shock spacers install between the shock and the shock mount on the A-arm. These can be used to raise the front of the car without adjusting the spring. Each spacer will raise the car 1/2" and can safely be double stacked to gain 1". Made from 6061 T6 aluminum.

The panhard rod is responsible for locating the rear end side-to-side in the chassis. Factory F-Body panhard rods are made from stamped-u-shaped material and utilize soft, rubber bushings that allow deflection under load. BMR panhard rods are all made from large diameter 1.25", heavy wall DOM tubing and utilize either greaseable polyurethane bushings or HD spherical bearings by QA1. The adjustable versions use left-hand and right-hand thread to allow easy "on-car" adjustment. Our CNC machined adjusters are made from 4130 chromoly and have rolled threads. All rod end spacers are 304 stainless. You won't find higher quality pieces.

By nature, a panhard rod will alter rear end position as ride height changes. This makes it necesarry to use an adjustable panhard rod when lowering your vehicle as it allows you to re-center the rear end. Adjustable panhard rods also become a "must-have" part if you are trying to fit the widest tires possible in the wheelwell. Available in Black Hammertone or red powdercoat.

 


PANHARD ROD RELOCATION KIT

This kit replaces the upper panhard rod support and relocates the panhard rod allowing enough room for up to dual 3" exhaust routing over the axle. Heavy duty tubular upper panhard rod support mounts in the original panhard rod location. New heavy duty brackets bolt to existing mounting holes and lower the panhard rod while maintaining the correct geometry. No welding or drilling required. Available in Black Hammertone or red powdercoat.

F-BODY SWAY BARS
 

If you are looking for increased cornering capabilities with decreased body roll, BMR sway bars are the answer. These bars are 32mm front(solid) and 22mm rear(solid) to replace the factory 30mm(hollow) and 19mm sizes and add stability to the F-Body platform. Made from cold formed steel to better resist torsional fatigue and retain their "memory" far longer than conventional hot formed bars. XTREME Rear Anti-Roll Bar

Having problems getting your 7, 8 or 9 second car to hook consistently? Rear anti-roll bars have been proven to eliminate torque steer and body roll during hard launches and will drastically improve the cars consistency and stability going down the track. Factory torque arms do a great job at robbing horsepower and torque and "dissolving" it into the chassis. Replace your weak, flexible stamped metal torque arm with a rigid BMR tubular version and put that power where it is supposed to be - the pavement! Made from MIG welded 1.25" x .120" tubing with heavy duty 1/4" mounting plates. Bolts directly in place of factory torque arm using all factory mounting locations. Requires no welding or drilling and clears all factory or aftermarket exhausts. The adjustable version comes equipped with a rear adjuster for adjusting pinion angle while the non-adjustable is preset at the optimal -2 degrees(in stock height applications). Both versions come with a new, low deflection polyurethane front mounting bushing. 1982-2002 V8 F-Body('82-'84 requires purchase of '85 or newer torque arm "clamshell" mount). Also fits all V6 F-body with one piece driveshafts. Available in Black Hammertone or red powdercoat.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO MOSER 12 BOLT USERS: This product is only warrantable on rear axles that utilize the factory style "through bolts" to connect the torque arm to the rear end. Moser 12 bolt rear ends utilize a threaded bolt hole that has been proven to have bolt retention issues when used with aftermarket torque arms. If you have this particular rear axle, understand this warranty disclaimer and still wish to use this product, keep in mind that lock washers, or Loctite brand thread sealants are not substitutes for periodic bolt inspection.
