The Third Generation F-body needs all the
help it can get with chassis reinforcement. Commonly known
as one of the most flexible and "loosest" chassis
ever produced we made sure that our subframe connectors
were up to the task. As with most of our subframe connectors,
we reinforce the rear control arm mounts with HD 3/16"
plate and use rectangular tubing to join three areas: the
rocker pinch welds, rear control arm boxes and front subframes.
This ties in the entire floorpan of the car by joining key
structural components, minimizing chassis flex and improving
handling.
BMR offers two versions for different exhaust
combinations. Part Number SFC008 is designed for cars with
full length headers and exhaust systems that run inside
the frame rails. Part Number SFC009 is designed for cars
equipped with the OE manifolds or shorty headers with OE
exhaust or OE type exhaust that runs on the passenger side,
outboard the subframe.

TUBULAR K-MEMBERS
BMR Tubular K-members reduce weight while
providing more room for large tube headers and turbo systems.
The factory K-member weighs 54.5 lbs. with motor mounts.
Our tubular version with integrated motor mounts only weighs
24 lbs., a weight savings of 30.5 lbs! Combine this with
a set of our Tubular A-arms and save up to 50 lbs. off the
front end! (NOTE: Manual rack and pinion conversion loses
an additional 28-36 lbs.)
Made from .120" wall 1.5" DOM

F-Body. Bolts to OE frame points using existing mounting holes.
NOTE: This crossmember only mounts the transmission and

The OE torque arm mounts to the tailshaft
housing of the transmission. For factory horsepower levels
and average street driving this works fine but drag racing
combined with more power equals broken tailshaft housings.
BMR Torque Arm Relocation Crossmembers allow you to take the
torque arm mount off the transmission and onto the crossmember,
eliminating the chance of breakage and firming up the mounting
point. Additionally these crossmembers allow the user to fine
tune the launch characteristics of the car by offering multiple
mounting points for "instant center" height adjustments.

STRANGE 12 BOLT REARENDS
The Strange 12 bolt rear for GM's F-body
chassis is the rearend that should have been in the car from
the factory. It features a nodular iron casting, HD Eaton
posi unit, 33 spline axles, fully welded tubes, chrome-moly
caps, and large 1350 series U-joint. Additionally Strange
housing ends work with OE brakes and eliminate the C-clip
axle retention.
