TUBULAR A-ARMS

BMR A-arms are fabricated from heavy duty MIG welded DOM tubing and come pre-assembled with low deflection polyurethane bushings, bump stops and new ball joints. Lower arms have sway bar mounting provisions and work with all stock replacement springs and shocks or with the popular QA1 Pro Coil kit. Upper A-arms provide additional header clearance and are assembled with a new billet cross shaft and HD stainless bushing retainers. Expect a combined weight savings of 10 lbs. Available in Black Hammertone or red powdercoat.

TUBULAR CONTROL ARMS

Factory control arms are marginal at best. Bushing deflection combined with control arm flex creates erratic handling and inconsistent rear end stability when subjected to the added loads of drag racing or performance driving. BMR control arms are manufactured from large diameter DOM or rectangular tubing to eliminate this flex and stabilize the suspension, allowing the suspension to do it's job more efficiently.

The lower control arms are available with or without swaybar mounting provisions. Our boxed lower arm is manufactured from 1.5" x 3" rectangular tubing and has reinforced swaybar mounting holes. This version is available for the street with greasable, fluted polyurethane bushings or for the track with bulletproof QA1 Teflon-lined spherical bearings.

For applications not requiring a control arm mounted swaybar we also provide chrome moly adjustable lower control arms. These come equipped with QA1 XR series 3/4" Teflon lined HD rod ends.

Upper control arms are available in either fixed length or adjustable versions, with either greasable, fluted polyurethane bushings or QA1 Teflon-lined XR series spherical bearings. Adjustable uppers allow "on-car" pinion angle adjustment by simply loosening the jamnuts and turning the adjuster. No need to unbolt the control arm. These adjusters are by far the strongest in the industry. Made from 1-1/8" CNC machined steel and zinc plated for corrosion resistance, they truly are overkill!

These are the beefiest G-body control arms yet. BMR's new G-Body lower control arms are CNC machined from billet 6061 T6 aluminum alloy and black anodized. It's almost a shame to bolt them under a car where you can't see them! Carved from a 2" x 2.5" solid billet, nobody will have to worry about breaking these. Machined with two sets of sway bar mounting holes for stock and altered angle mounts. We have also upgraded the bushings and inner sleeves with thicker material to handle whatever you can dish out. Made in the USA!

CONTROL ARM RELOCATION BRACKETS

Relocate your control arm rear mounting points and improve your cars instant center. These weld-in relocation brackets allow up to a 2.5" lower rear control arm mount. The increased control arm angle provides better weight transfer and increases 60 ft/times. Unlike other G-Body traction devices, these will work with all OE and aftermarket rear ends.

DRIVESHAFT SAFETY LOOP

Most tracks require a driveshaft safety loop for cars running faster than 12.99 in the quarter. This NHRA approved loop is a direct bolt-in for the G-body chassis using existing floorpan mounting holes. No drilling or welding required. Available in Black Hammertone or red powdercoat. XTREME ANTI-ROLL BAR

If your a drag racer, this is the anti-roll bar for you. No cutting or welding required and since we engineered this bar around the original contours, it clears OE and all OE-style rearends and aftermarket exhaust systems.

  • Massive 1-3/8" bar diameter
  • Easy bolt-on design with the option to be welded

The factory rear swaybar works well for handling but falls short when it comes to drag racing. There are two main reasons for this. One, the OE bar diameters are nowhere near the right diameter to control torque loading on a launch. And second, the OE-type bar only attaches at the control arms with no frame attachment points. This allows too much body separation and no way to control it. By attaching the endlinks to the frame, body separation is minimized and converted to forward momentum. This combined with the large diameter bar's ability to better control torque loading creates more consistent and predictable launches and better 60 ft/times. Provided with all necessary Grade 8 mounting hardware. Available in Black Hammertone or red powdercoat. NOTE: Designed for rear ends with 3-3.25" axle tube diameters only, not compatible with small OE 7.5" ring gear rear ends..

STRANGE BOLT-IN REARENDS

If your 10 bolt is just not cutting it, Strange offers a bolt-in New casting DANA 60 rear that is a bolt-in for your G-Body. The all new rear is cast from nodular iron and has a beefy 9.75" diameter ring gear. Weighing only 20 lbs. more than a 12 bolt and prices starting below $2k for a complete rear, you can't go wrong.

PROTHANE BUSHINGS

WHY USE POLYURETHANE?

Production vehicles are built using rubber bushings in control arms, strut arms, leaf springs, body mounts, motor mounts, transmission mounts, sway bars and shocks. Additionally, rubber components can be found used on coil spring pads, leaf spring pads and suspension bump stops. Not only are rubber components on the soft side to accomodate the typical car and truck buyer, they also deteriate rapidly. This contributes to premature component failure, a "spongy" ride and less than ideal performance handling. Urethane can correct these conditions, while improving driveability.
