The factory at least gave us a strut tower
brace for the new GTO but, unfortunately, it is little more
than a cosmetic piece. The factory brace is made from thin
wall 1" x .083" seamed tubing and does little
to reinforce the strut towers. The BMR strut tower brace
is made from 1-5/8" x .095" seamless tubing and
uses heavy duty 3/16" mounting plates. Available in
Black Hammertone
or red powdercoat. Also available painted factory colors
for an additional $40. NOTE: Some manual
'05-'06 cars may require bending the clutch reservoir bracket
for proper clearance.

SUBFRAME CONNECTORS
BMR subframe connectors provide the ultimate
in frame rigidity and add to the overall handling ability
of the car. They are manufactured from 1.5" x 2"
x .120" rectangular tubing and laser cut, 1/4"
mounting and weld plates. The subframe connectors tie into
5 structural areas and provide 4 seperate weld points. The
rear mount replaces the factory suspension cradle mount

HARROP DIFFERENTIAL COVER WITH
POLYURETHANE MOUNT
These custom differential covers stabilize
the differential mount, reinforce the case, and provide better
cooling with increased oil capacity. The factory rear mount
is a very poor design. The entire rear cradle and suspension
is mounted by two front bushings and one rear. The rear center
mount attaches to the cover and is responsible for controlling
movement and maintaining pinion angle. This improved rear
mount spreads the load out over a greater area by using two
bushings, each to the side of the cover. Less differential
flex results in minimized wheelhop and quicker response to
braking and acceleration. Simple bolt-on installation. NOTE:
Although this cover clears OE exhaust, aftermarket exhaust

Does wheelhop plague your new
GTO? This is a common side effect in independent rear suspensions
caused by the inability to properly dampen vertical wheel
movement with applied torque. Combine this with the minimal
rear suspension travel of the new Goat and your bouncing off
the bumpstops every time you stab the throttle. An easy solution
to this is stiff rear spring rates, however ride quality then
becomes an issue as well as excessive oversteer. The best
solution is a set of BMR Drag Bags. This is an old solution
to a relatively new problem. Spring rate can be altered by
simply adding air (without effecting ride height) and ride
quality remains un-effected when the bag is deflated. Fairly
simple 2-3 hour installation time. NOTE: Works with OE springs
only.

HEAVY DUTY DRIVESHAFTS
The factory driveshaft in the GTO is the
weakest part of the entire driveline. It's a two piece design
that is only 2 inches in diameter and uses rubber mounts
instead of u-joints. Not only do the rubber mounts contribute
to wheelhop, they are notorious for failing on even slightly
modified 6 speed cars.
Our heavy duty driveshafts are a one-piece
design that use forged 1350 series u-joints. Each driveshaft
comes with a cryogenically frozen front yoke and a custom
machined 300M billet pinion yoke adaptor (shown below).
NOTE: Due to the physical size of this driveshaft,
the factory exhaust may require some modification. Most
aftermarket exhausts tested do not have clearance issues.
Steel driveshafts not recommended for 6 speed cars. Driveshaft
needs additional spacer if using Harrop Differential cover.

SHAFTS
OE CV axles typically won't
fail because the driveshaft goes first. Once the driveshaft
is upgraded, the CV's become the next weak link and typically
break at the axles' transition on the shaft. A broken CV axle
can cause thousands of dollars in damage before getting the
car stopped. Don't risk it, our heavy duty CV axles use custom
billet CV joints and 300M axle material. The axle itself is
1-3/8" diameter compared to the OE 1-1/16" and is
capable of handling 800+ RWHP.

NOLTEC BUSHINGS
The durability of polyurethane
is superior to the rubber components used in your new GTO.
Road salt, oil, and many other common under car contaminants
will eventually destroy the rubber bushings on your vehicles,
not to mention the weight and torque forces that typically
compress most rubber permanently.
Polyurethane components stand up well to contaminants that
often destroy rubber and have been engineered to give longer-lasting
performance and not compress permanently. Additionally, Noltec
addresses other common GTO issues such as providing camber
and caster adjustment that was otherwise unavailable.
The lever kit allows for remote actuation
of the Big Switch. The kit includes an 18" long, diameter
aluminum threaded rod, T-handle, mounting bracket and necessary
