Factory control arms for the SS are the
same as what Chevrolet puts on Grandmas Caprice. Bushing
deflection combined with control arm flex creates erratic
handling and inconsistent rear end stability when subjected
to the added loads of performance driving. BMR control
arms are built using 1-5/8" x .120" rollcage tubing with
1/4" thick mounting plates for a bulletproof combination.
Lower arms are available stock length or 3/4" longer than
stock to properly center the wheels in the wheelwells(See
below illustration) and both are equipped with swaybar
mounting holes and greaseable, low deflection polyurethane
bushings. Upper control arms are available in either fixed
or adjustable versions. Adjustable uppers allow "on-car"
adjustability by simply loosening the jamnuts and turning
the adjuster. Now you can adjust your pinion angle "on-car"
without unbolting the control arm. These adjusters are
by far the strongest in the industry. Made from 1-1/8"
CNC milled steel then zinc plated for corrosion resistance,
they truly are overkill! Available in Black

NOTE:
In
some instances, mainly due to ride height variation, it
may be necesarry to install a longer driveshaft when using
extended length control arms.

BILLET CONTROL ARMS
These are the beefiest Impala
control arms yet. BMR's new Impala SS lower control arms
are CNC machined from billet 6061 T6 aluminum alloy and
black anodized. It's almost a shame to bolt them under
a car, they look so good they belong on the coffee table
for all to see! Carved from a 2" x 2.5" solid
billet, nobody will have to worry about breaking these.
We have also upgraded the bushings and inner sleeves with
thicker material to handle whatever you can dish out.

PROTHANE BUSHINGS
WHY
USE URETHANE?
Production
vehicles are built using rubber bushings in control arms,
strut arms, leaf springs, body mounts, motor mounts, transmission
mounts, sway bars and shocks. Additionally, rubber components
can be found used on coil spring pads, leaf spring pads
and suspension bump stops. Not only are rubber components
on the soft side to accomodate the typical car and truck
buyer, they also deteriate rapidly. This contributes to
premature component failure, a "spongy" ride
and less than ideal performance handling. Urethane can
correct these conditions, while improving driveability.

MEZIERE ELECTRIC WATER PUMPS
The popular LT1 water
pump is commonly used in NHRA and IHRA Stock and Super
Stock classes. Also widely used by street rodders to solve
the inherent stock GM cooling problems. Meziere has designed
this pump to mate to the stock GM housing with absolutely
no modifications to the housing itself. This pump retains
the efficient factory designed flow direction. Merely
plug the original factory drive port, press out the original
stock mechanical assembly and bolt this pump on.
The lever kit allows for remote actuation
of the Big Switch. The kit includes an 18" long, diameter
aluminum threaded rod, T-handle, mounting bracket and necessary
