TONS OF EXHAUST CLEARANCE!

Thonotosassa, FL - With the popularity of the LS1 based engines and the great suspension and relatively light weight of the fourth generation F-body, it's no wonder you see so many of these cars at the tracks these days. Add the fact that you can now buy complete running cars for under $8k and it's a no-brainer. One point of common knowledge surrounding this generation of F-Body is the limited engine bay room and accessibility. Narrow strut towers, a huge windshield overhang, and bulky K-member all limit the ability to run custom turbo and supercharger setups. For you turbo guys BMR now has the "clean" solution to down-pipe clearance. With our newly designed High-clearance K-member it is now possible to run up to a 5" down-pipe along either side of the motor!

Applications include LS1 style motor mounts as well as traditional small block and big block Chevrolet mounts. Motor plate style K-members are also available in this configuration. All versions are available with OE style power rack and pinion mounts or custom mounts for BMR's widened Pinto-style manual rack and pinion.
